ABEM

Unlike standard continuing medical education programs, there are special requirements for emergency medicine. The American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) has instituted its Emergency Medicine Continuous Certification (EMCC). A list of 16 to 20 readings based on the EM Model will be posted on the ABEM each year. The American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) was established LLSA in 1988 as an independent, non-profit organization to LLSA certify the competency of physicians who practice the discipline of Emergency Medicine.
