Online LLSA Courses

Challenger Online LLSA Courses is the most thorough, comprehensive, and instructionally valid curriculum for physicians preparing for Lifelong Learning and Self Assessment. ABEM has selected review articles for the Online LLSA Courses to encourage practicing emergency physicians to acquire an evidence-based approach to patient care decision-making. Challenger LLSA, based on a proven evidence-based learning methodology for self-instruction and retained learning, is designed to ensure that physicians achieve competency on the Key Points from these sources.

Online LLSA Courses

Online LLSA Courses is based on the 20 articles of the American Board of Emergency Medicine 2005 Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment (LLSA) program. This course is taken almost entirely on-line. The summary of courses stress the key points of the articles, providing the information crucial to passing the 2005 Online LLSA Courses exam.

Concert Exam

The link between previous LLSA readings and the Concert exam no longer exists. Concert exam are focused on assessing knowledge needed for clinical practice. Although LLSA questions will no longer appear on the Concert examination, similar concepts may still be represented, as they become the standards for practice in EM. The questions of detailed information found on the LLSA tests, however, will not be found on the Concert examinations.

Concert Exam

In developing the EMCC program, ABEM created a strong link between the LLSA component and the Concert exam, basing up to 40% of the exam content on prior years’ LLSA readings. ABEM’s intent was to increase the value of EMCC to ABEM diplomats. Some diplomats, however, have expressed concern that they would be responsible for knowing the content of up to 200 specific articles when taking the Concert exam.

LLSA Preparation provides clients with an on site succinct evidence based didactic review of the Life-Long Learning and Self-Assessment. LLSA articles for each year-cycle which will update your practice on many aspects of evidence-based care.
