ABEM In-Service Examination

In-Training Examination represents a significant financial investment for supporting continued competence of the health care workforce. The In-Training Exam gives an integrative review of the education and training literature conducted to identify effective training approaches for health worker continuing professional education (CPE) and what evidence exists of outcomes derived from CPE.

A variety of In-Training courses (In-service exam) based on developed country models are being promoted as a strategy to improve the quality of care on the serious illnesses developing in various countries. But most EM specialists don’t make it through the exam due to the lack of time to prepare for the ABEM inservice exam.
